She thereafter joined Messrs Bhatt & Saldanha, a law firm in Mumbai where she attended to maritime matters mainly into "ship interest" and also matters relating to Port Trust, Bills of Lading, Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, Collision, Ship Arrest and Release and other General Litigation matters. She then moved to Mulla & Mulla, Craigie, Blunt & Caroe where she attended to maritime matters exclusively concerning ship arrest and release and other matters related to shipping. She was always on merit list during her school, college days and also at post graduate level. She has proved herself to be successful in the legal profession.
